Refunds & Cancellation

Two different things, kept separate on purpose. Cancelling stops future charges. A refund returns money already charged, and we offer that only in the specific cases named below.
Cancellation is one step
Cancel the monthly subscription at any time at /account/billing. One confirmation, no retention offers, no phone call. Cancelling stops the next charge. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not cut short.
Refunds are not offered for dissatisfaction or inaccuracy
A subscription gives you access to generate readings for a period. Once a period has been made available to you it has been delivered, and an astrologer being wrong is not a service failure. So we do not refund a period you disliked, disagreed with, or did not use.
Where a refund IS given
These are the cases where a charge is returned, and they are the whole list:
- duplicate charge
- unauthorised charge
- service not delivered for a paid period
An annual prepayment makes the last of these sharper: if the service is not delivered for a run of the prepaid months, the undelivered months are refundable.
How a refund is processed
Email us from the contact page with the payment reference. Where a refund is due, we process it to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of confirming it. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.
Your bank's own controls
Separately from anything here, the Reserve Bank of India's e-mandate rules let you decline any single automatic debit at your bank, and withdraw the mandate entirely. Those controls are yours and we do not override them.
